Weird Feeling

I've been having this feeling more and more lately.  It's weird.  It's like Deja Vu, but after the fact.  I'll do something, and then 5 minutes later I'll feel like I've done it twice, once 5 minutes ago, and once a *long* time ago.  It's weird.

I feel like I'm tricking myself. πŸ˜‰

  1. Or grasping at the remnants of a past life. πŸ˜›

  2. have you ever had deju vu about deja vu? that messes me right up.

  3. In my experience, that's a sign of when I'm in one of 2 cases: a) learning something very new that requires more than the usual amount of brain-power like a foreign language or taking classes that are requiring me to retain a lot of info or b) when I'm extremely emotionally under duress. If either of those things are going on, they could be contributing. I know you're young but there are also physical reasons dealing with blood supply and oxygen levels that could give you similar symptoms.–And I believe in dΓ©ja vu : )

  4. Maybe Wikipedia has something that could help?

  5. It's so weird, but it's so cool! For a brief moment one feels like one can see the future. (Of course one can't but it's a cool feeling.)

  6. Perhaps! Not sure that would make sense though, as they are "memories" of *this* one. πŸ™‚

  7. Yeah really, that would make my head explode. πŸ™‚

  8. It seems like mine is just in random places. Of course, since I don't get the feeling of deja vu until *after* it happens, it makes me distrust it even more. πŸ˜‰

  9. Interesting article, thanks!

  10. It is kind of cool. πŸ˜‰

  11. I have never claimed to be psychic nor do I possess any ESP or paranormal type abilities that give me clairvoyance, etc…all that X-Files stuff. However, I do believe that we (all) possess some kind of insight or deja vu receptors (I can't even put a handle on it); stronger in others, weaker in most. In my case which is somewhat similar to what you've describe, I've had that "been there, done that" feeling, too. What blows my friggen' mind is the dream processes I go through. I'll be past REM stage and start having lucid dreams, where I actually hear and see myself doing "stuff" as if I'm standing next to myself (not the usual dreaming where it's as if you are watching a movie). Quick example, I dreamed I was in a heated discussion with a co-worker over technical specs and I blurt out, "The infrastructure is totally susceptible to network intrusions! Are you outta your fuckin' mind?" Fast forward 3 days later when I've forgotten about the "silly" dream? I'm in a conference room attending an unscheduled, impromptu meeting and I say (without even thinking), "The infrastructure is totally susceptible to network intrusions! Are you outta your fuckin'…" I stop there, suspended in disbelief and unable to finish my sentence. My co-workers look puzzled and ask me if I'm feeling okay. I nod and leave the room for the men's restroom, where I'm hunched over a sink patting water on my flushed face, staring into a mirror at a baffled face. These moments happen much too often in my life. Go figure, huh?

  12. Wow, that's crazy. πŸ™‚
